This year has been a great year for games to release, after fantastic announcements over the last few months. The same can be said about the upcoming Co-Op Action RPG from Limitless Games called Ascendants Rising, which is set to bring in MMORPG features later this month.
Ascendants Rising, according to their official Steam page and website, is “a co-op action RPG that allows players to create their own unique playstyle and team up, to explore an ever-changing Multiverse teeming with deadly enemies, formidable Boss fights and amazing loot.” What’s not clear is whether or not the game takes its fully inspiration from MMORPGs such as Breach and Wildstar, due to the similar look. In fact, while describing the key features of the game, the team goes on to start with:
“Do you like MMORPGs? Are you tired of the tedious grind, the group hunting, and the long treks before you are allowed to have fun? Or maybe you just don’t have time for this anymore? Then, do we have the game for you!”
All in all, the game is set to release later this month in Early Access on June 24th, on Steam, followed by a planned release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS – with cross-play and cross-progression planned (according to their FAQ on their official Discord).

It’s also interesting to note that they have quick referencing for their previous game, as well as their previous website for, Pantheons Legends. In fact, it seems to be the same game, with a rebranding in their name, as well some overall look changes. Game names come and go, but it seems that this is the final name they have decided to go with.
