Lost Ark, the newest MMORPG from developer Smilegate and publisher Amazon Game Studios, has announced its sign up availability for players in case they are interested in testing the game from November 4th until November 11th. Currently the only way to be guaranteed a spot in the Closed Beta is by purchasing a Founder Pack, but players have a chance at getting in for free, by simply signing up for a chance using their Amazon account. For the content creators out there, there will be no NDA around the Closed Beta, unlike its Alpha which finished earlier this year – and Amazon will allow players to create content around the game using in-game footage and content. Speaking of which, if you were in the Technical Alpha earlier this year, that does not guarantee your entry into the Closed Beta on November 4th.
As for the Closed Beta, according to the official FAQ on the website, the regions that will be available to play are as follows:
*CANADA, MEXICO, UNITED STATES, ALAND ISLANDS (FINLAND), ALBANIA, ANDORRA, AUSTRIA, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, BULGARIA, CROATIA, CZECH REPUBLIC, DENMARK, FAROE ISLANDS (Denmark), FINLAND, FRANCE, GERMANY, GIBRALTAR (UK), GREECE, GUERNSEY (UK), HOLY SEE, HUNGARY, ICELAND, IRELAND, ISLE OF MAN (UK), ITALY, JERSEY (UK), KOSOVO, LATVIA, LIECHTENSTEIN, LITHUANIA, LUXEMBOURG, MALTA, MONACO, MONTENEGRO, NORTH MACEDONIA, NORWAY, POLAND, PORTUGAL, ROMANIA, SAN MARINO, SERBIA, SLOVAKIA, SLOVENIA, SPAIN, SVALBARD & JAN MAYEN (Norway), SWEDEN, SWITZERLAND, TURKEY, UNITED KINGDOM
Which means if you’re outside of these regions, chances are you’ll need a VPN to even play the game, let alone see it on Steam. If interested, players can sign up on the official Lost Ark website for additional information, and grab a chance at a Closed Beta key.
