Well, what once seemed a myth, now is a reality. Amazon Games has announced that Lost Ark is officially releasing later this year. Lost Ark is Smilegate’s ARPG with MMORPG features, with the alpha starting tomorrow, which users can sign up on the official website. Lost Ark will be releasing on PC, specifically on Steam, published by Amazon Games and developed by Smilegate.
The game is planned to be fully localized in English, French, German and Spanish, for both written and spoken voice work. It will be completely free-to-play, with optional in-game purchases that won’t affect game experiences, according to Amazon Games. There are currently no plans for Console for Lost Ark, but the game’s success on PC could possibly change those plans.
