As viewers mostly know, due to the shake in the MMORPG world, En Masse Entertainment, the major publisher that cared for TERA, Closers, Kritika, AvA and many more titles, has announced that they’re shutting down the company and transferring their games to other publishers. TERA’s Console version received an early announcement, exclusively here on Sarumonin.com, that KRAFTON Bluehole Studio’s Console Department would be taking care of the TERA Console port going forward.
After weeks of speculation on how exactly the currency would work, and the new Elite Status system that players can optionally opt-in for, and subscribe for, we finally have full details on just that. When it comes to the EMP that players have, also known as En Masse Points, the original plan set by KRAFTON was that players would receive a refund on their EMP purchases, whereas the rest of the non-refundable purchases, would end up going elsewhere. However, it’s been now set in stone, after players voiced their concerns of the TERA Console Twitter and other locations – that all EMP will convert to TERA Coin, the brand new Cash Shop Currency at 1:1. So, if you have 9,000 EMP, it will convert to 9,000 TERA Coin.
As for the Elite Status that players are accustomed to, we’ve been given an early first look at the prices for Elite Status, and the comparisons between the new Elite Status options and the current EME (En Masse Entertainment) Elite Status:

Players will notice a slight increase in their requirements for Broker fees when listing items, but a significant decrease in paying fees when buying items from the Broker. Though this is to be finalized, and some things may change around, as there’s internal discussions of a few benefits that need adjustment – the prices are set in stone it seem. Not only that, but players can expect an entirely new loading screen, launcher and brand new servers which are set to come soon.
